Mary, Jim and many others with improved life despite ongoing challenges

Complex Regional Pain Disorder

It is described as pain that is widespread and intense but without a specific cause.

Mary had pain everywhere, and all of her scans and imaging was normal. She was missing way too much school. She couldn't slee well because she had no comfortable positions. One session of fascial counterstrain gave her 2 completely pain-free days. She told me they were the best days of her life. Another session lengthened her pain free time to five days. Her third session of counterstrain was her last. Now, she only needs motrin 1 or 2 days a month to control her pain. She takes no other pain medicines. She smiles more and has hope for the future.

Crohn’s Disease

Crohn’s disease causes abdominal pain, diarrhea and constipation. It can cause joint pains, skin rashes, rectal bleeding and many other issues. It can be kept at bay with shots every three months of immunosuppressant medications that decrease the body’s ability to produce inflammation. It can also be kept at bay with fascial counterstrain, as we learned with Jim.

Jim couldn’t take those immunosuppressant medications because they could worsen a different medical problem he had. He gave fascial counterstrain a try. His crohn’s disease symptoms have significantly improved. He sometimes returns every 4 or 5 months if something new flares up, but he is very pleased to find an effective modality that causes him no side effects.

“Itis” -- Arthritis, costochondritis, bursitis, tendonitis, fasciitis and more.

I have too many stories of people helped with these conditions to name them all. The medical suffix “itis” means “inflammation of”. Fascial counterstrain is effective because it relieves the “itis.”

The body knows how to heal itself. It just needs a little help sometimes clearing the playing field, calming the traffic, and putting out the fires so that it can restore business as usual.

However you imagine it, the technique is powerful, especially against any number of “itis” conditions.
